Be Green - Share Rides

Upon completing the CalArts Coursera Graphic Design course, a optional portfolio project was provided. The brief for this project was to design a visual message in the format of a 12"x18" street poster, which would be displayed at bus stops and train stations in any big city, for the "Be Green" campaign. I adjusted the design of this project for a more modern environment we live in that allows me to turn this poster into a digital motion piece that can be displayed on screens at bus stops and train stations. Therefore, I decided to do an animated piece that would properly convey the message of the campaign.

The goal of the campaign is to motivate people to adopt a more eco-friendly lifestyle. The topic of sharing rides advocates the idea of sharing rides to work/school to reduce emissions and help reduce global warming. I conducted my own research for data and information regarding car emissions and how they affect global warming. From my research, I put together a script, which is communicated via the typography throughout the piece.

My styleframes for this project are below.
